Illustrated Portraits 16.03.2021

In recent months I have had an influx of enquiries and orders for custom illustrated portraits. Which I have LOVED completing. There is something very satisfying in bringing joy to someone through my artwork. Each commissioned piece is carefully planned and thought about (probably too much thinking involved…) little details like gold leaf are added for that unique touch.

I wanted to dedicate a blog post to this great custom portrait movement and express my love for doing them. Especially in these times, it is a great way to bring families together and remind them of the good times. Of those we have lost and those new arrivals. Pets have been drawn also, let’s not forget them.

I love picking up on the details and characteristics individual to each of us. Endearing character traits should be celebrated, they are after all what makes us who we are.
